Essential Question: How have different cultures connected to nature through storytelling?

Students developed their narrative voice through the study of mentor texts from folktales and cultural stories.  Students prepared audio recordings of their inspired constellation folktales in preparation for an immersive experience for listeners within a blacklight-lit darkroom filled with original constellations.

Skills: Problem-solving, Narrative written and oral presentation, multiplication and division strategies and word problems, engineering design, scale and proportion, patterns, STEM and society, geometry, people long ago and today, earth sciences
